The instruments' reduced ornamentation”lacking body or fingerboard binding, and using plainer tops”has helped to put them in the hands of many more players, while their adherence to the Les Paul's hardware, pickup, and construction traditions retained all the thick, meaty tone and unsurpassed playability for which the Standard has been known for nearly 60 years. The Gibson Les Paul Studio Mahogany combines these assets in a new instrument with a carved mahogany top for a subtle tonal shift when compared to the traditional maple top, and two exclusive finishes: Worn Satin White and Worn Satin Ebony, both with a Baked Maple fingerboard. Combine all this with a pair of Gibson's most popular humbucking pickups ever, and a classic hardware complement, and you have a no-nonsense classic for rock, blues, fusion, or any musical style you care to apply it to.The Les Paul Studio Mahogany is equipped with a pair of Gibson's Modern Classics humbucking pickups, a 490R in the rhythm (neck) position and a 498T "Hot Alnico" in the lead (bridge) position. This calibrated pairing offers an excellent output balance between pickups, with tremendous tonal versatility between the individual and combined switch settings. Gibson's 490R uses an Alnico II bar magnet for a smooth, warm tone, while the 498T uses an Alnico V bar magnet for a sharper, punchier response. Gibson's Modern Classics are among the most popular humbucking pickups in modern guitar making, and offer tone and performance suitable for a wide range of musical styles. Both the bridge and neck pickup yield plenty of richness and clarity, and can dial in great clean tones when required, but will also push amps and effects a little harder when desired. The 490R in the neck position is warm, rich, and round sounding, while the 498T in the bridge position is hotter and meatier, with excellent midrange punch, a sizzling lead tone through a high-gain amp or pedal, and excellent sustain.Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.Features• Model name: Gibson Les Paul Studio Mahogany• Body style: single-cutaway carved top Les Paul• Top wood: Mahogany• Body wood: Chambered mahogany• Finish: nitrocellulose lacquer• Neck: solid quartersawn mahogany• Neck profile: '50s rounded• Neck joint: set• Nut: Corian• Fingerboard: Baked Maple• 22 jumbo frets• Fingerboard inlays: figured acrylic trapezoids• Hardware plating: Chrome• Tuners: Vintage-style pearloid key tuners• Neck pickup: Gibson 490R humbucker• Bridge pickup: Gibson 498T "Hot Alnico" humbucker• Pickup selector: 3-way• Controls: volume, volume, tone, tone• Knobs: Black top hat• Pickguard: black• Bridge: Tune-O-Matic• Tailpiece: stopbar• Includes Gibson USA hard caseGibson PRS John Mayer PRS SE Martin Taylor Ed Sheran Kemper Line6 Helix Floor LT HX Stomp Boss Nash Guitars Fractal Ax8 Fm13 Fm9 Cuvave G Tank VTR Effects Kailani Narciso Helios Music Maker QuadCortex Neural DSP line 6 pod hd 500x marshall dsl 40c 15cBlackstar ht40 ht60 ht20 ht5boss gt100epiphone les paul slashpedaleira zoom g11amplificador válvuladotagima e1 ja1 ja3fender telecaster stratocasterepiphone les paul zakk Wyldecaptador Seymour Duncan dimarzioMarupá/ Hiwatt Sunn Kemper/Cedro/MarfimLone Wolf Suhr Rufus/JHS/CompressorFriedman/59/Proco Rat/Jazzmaster/Freijó/Huges & Kettner/Alnco Blues/NigKRK/Crafter/SGT/Nitrus/TS3/ES3/TKL/FSR/SolezRoland/Lollar/Bassman/Sergio Rosar/EMG KoreaFender/Finch/GFSGibson Electro-Harmonix CabreraBoss/Borne/Behringer/Tagima/ASHEarthQuaker Devices/TremendãoSnake/gianniniPedaltrain/PhelJHS/Tokai/Zvex/Cort/TelecasterDunlop/TanglewoodKeeley/MRoxy TC Electronic/DigitechWay Huge Martin/GotohEmpress Meteoro MGV30Sire/Nig/Shecter/Gato Preto ClassicDigiTech/PedroneRadial/GT 100/DimarzioWampler/Santo AngeloXotic/Taylor/AlphaVoodoo Lab/WashburnFulltone/Tesla/DG 20Mission Engineering/MalagoliCry Baby/Duovox/TS3/ES3/LenytoneEpiphone/Alnico Blues Gretsch/TSB 58Squier/Korea/Japan/TSB 67 Rickenbacker/JazzmasterPaul Reed SmithDanelectro/RarusReverend/Super SonicGuild/RandalEastwood/LaneyDuesenberg/JaguarSilvertone/ChorusMiscellaneousVoxMarshall/Inf3 Inf4/DelayOrange/Acedo AudioAmpegQuilterBlackstarSupro/FlyingPhil Jones/KorinaVictoria/ExplorerGallien-KruegerAguilar/Mogno/MustangFriedman/Jay TurserMiscellaneous/JacksonRoland/GotohTone King/Warm MusicStwart/Greco Supersound/Rio GrandeTwo Rock/Teisco/Haley & BentonWarwick/Impala SuecaShelter NashvilleNash/Sigma/Diamond/ApolloHagstrom LegendBilt/Classic Vibe 12XA7 GreenblackBill Lawrence/V52/V100/JC503 2AT7/12AU7.
